You might just have to buy Blackwell: Unbound. Yesterday Dave and I spent a good half an hour recording audio commentary for the game, a little bonus you get once you win. We chat a bit about the artistic process, but you also get to hear me speculate about what Joey is and isn’t allowed to watch. Plus, at one point Dave accidentally calls himself old. Worth the ten dolla just for that.
As I continue to overbook myself creatively, you should be seeing some more random-ass comics over there on the comics page. I had the cowboy idea a couple days ago and it wouldn’t leave me alone until I made it into a comic. Thank god for flickr.
Should be a new “political” cartoon up there relatively soon as well. I’m pleased/disturbed by how easy it was to get my stuff into another newspaper. Side note: when I sent in my comic about David Suzuki (a Canadian environmentalist) and energy efficient lightbulbs, the editor of the paper wrote me back and said, “Hey, this will go great with David Suzuki’s article about energy efficient lightbulbs!” I was so on that day.
Oh, before I forget, a big thank you to everyone who’s linked to my blog. Wordpress lets me see all incoming links, and I’m finding out about all sorts of neat game blogs, plus some awesome artsy ones that have mentioned me. Aw shucks y’all, making me feel special.
As soon as I think of a way to pretty up my links page I’ll certainly return the favour.
That’s all for now! Tune in next week for whatever updates I have to offer. Now, for my next impressive feat, I’m going to collapse into a post-ultimate-frisbee coma like this
Zzzzz…
