Hi, I am a Mac user and I bought the indie brain pack on Steam because it’s a sweet deal even if I can’t play your game; all other games are compatible with Mac. However, since Puzzle Bots looks like a nice game, I was wondering if you will consider to make a Mac port of it in the future.
Thanks in advance for reading this!

Hi Andrea,
Thanks very much for purchasing the bundle. : )
I wish I could say there will be a Mac version, but our game engine just isn’t flexible enough to do that. Creating a Mac port would mean re-programming the game from scratch, and I’m afraid we don’t have the time or the budget for that.
However, I’ve heard that some Boot Camp users have successfully run the game on the Windows side. If that’s not an option I’d say just gift the game to someone who’s way into robots or science.

That’s ok… I understand that indie programming has some obvious constraints and I’m glad I gave my little contribution anyway.
I’ll eventually make some experiments or give it to someone – about this, is the game DLC-free? Does it work without the Steam client?
Thanks for your time, and happy new year!

Thanks for understanding. : )
You friend might need to have the Steam client if you’re going to gift it to them. But beyond that, the game is free from Steam’s wraparound DRM. It doesn’t connect you to Steam during the game (I believe) and there aren’t any achievements or anything.
Cheers!

yeah, of course I meant DRM, not DLC
